5W's Market Day

We thoroughly enjoyed the market day on Wednesday. We carefully set up our stalls in the morning, laying out our products with clearly labelled prices and a colourful banner which we displayed on the back board. As soon as everything was ready, the children came flooding into the playground excitedly. We were all rushed off our feet as the products we were selling proved to be very popular! Some of the stalls were sold out within half an hour! The teachers and parents seemed to be very impressed with our ability to run the stalls ourselves and make a huge profit! We are very proud of what we have achieved!

5M's Marvelous Market Place!

What a magnificent week! This would have to have been one of the most successful Yr5 market days ever.
Well done to the kids who designed, planned and implemented their businesses with such confidence and independence. All groups made a profit, which is a first!

We now move on to our second science unit - energy! This is a fantastic unit and over the weeks we will be adding further videos and information on the UOI page of our weekly update.

Next week is the final week before the break. Parents will be involved with their children for Student Led Conferences (SLC)on Thursday. We are really looking forward to sharing our learning with you.

Remember, Friday is the last day before the break and we will finish at 12.00.
